Physics is the subject I teach with most pleasure: it's my main field of study and my approach to it is direct and down to earth, letting go all the theoretical points of view if not useful for understanding. Exercises are considered, for me, more important than the theoretical part, even though before each exercise lecture we will discuss the theory behind together.

Math is the basis for most sciences, but my personal approach to it can be considered more practical than theoretical. During our lectures I will make several practical examples to make the topic more comfortable and assimilable, sometimes refering to my main field of study, which is physics. Depeding on the school the student is attending, the examples are going to be more similar to their field of study (being chemistry, physics, math itself, biology, pharmacy etc).

My Italian level is a mother tongue level. I lived in Italy for 23 years before coming to the Netherlands to complete my master thesis in particle and nuclear physics. My personal approach to the study of a language is to study together a bit of grammar but pass to conversation as soon as possible: the student will remember more if they are able to speak small sentences about the topics we dealt with togheter.
